This privacy policy applies to information collected on the Illinois Legal Aid Online (ILAO) website at which it is posted. This policy does not apply to information we may collect in other forums, including through emails or offline.

Many areas of our Sites can be browsed anonymously. However in order to take advantage of certain features, such as registering as an authorized user of IllinoisLegalAdvocate.org or IllinoisProBono.org, personally identifiable information will be requested from you. We also collect personal information, including payment information, from individuals who wish to donate to Illinois Legal Aid Online at any of our websites. Our sites also offer "tell-a-friend" features, where you can email your friend certain information from our website. If you would like to contact Illinois Legal Aid Online or provide feedback from any ILAO website, then we request your name and e-mail address.

We use the personally identifiable information you submit to respond to your request, to otherwise help us in processing your request, or as otherwise described on our Sites. For example, if you are logged into the website as a registered user ILAO will track your last logged-in date and your search history.

ILAO uses standard security measures to protect information submitted on this site.
